Governor Evers and the Department of Health Services announced that public and private K-12 schools shall remain closed for pupil instruction and extracurricular activities for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Reek School will continue to provide online learning for all students.
The Board of Canvassers Meeting for Linn Joint 6 School District will be held Thursday, April 16 at 9:00 in the Reek School library to certify the election results for the office of School Board Member for Linn Joint 6.
The staff and students of Reek School earned an award for high achievement. This is the fourth year that Reek School has received Wisconsin Title I School of Recognition honors. The Schools of Recognition award is presented to schools leveraging federal Title I funding to provide additional resources and services to economically disadvantaged students. Criteria for receiving a Schools of Recognition award includes reaching goals for test participation, attendance, and graduation rates. Additional criteria, and a full description of award categories can be found on the DPI’s website.

Governor Evers issued Emergency Order #12 to institute a Safer At Home policy. The order is effective at 8:00 am on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 and will remain in effect until 8:00 am Friday, April 24, 2020, or until a superseding order is issued. We will not be in school until Monday, April 27 unless any changes occur. Until that time, we will continue to offer virtual learning. We will also continue to offer lunch for students. Reek School online instruction begins tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18. Please respond to the daily email attendance link and most importantly, ensure that your children are doing the assigned work. Thank you.
The Linn Fire Department Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for April 4th is cancelled.
On Friday, February 14, each student may bring one special person to join them for a special Valentine's Day lunch hosted by School Club. Elementary lunch begins at 11:15. Middle school lunch begins at 12:05. All guests should meet their child in the hallway by the lunchroom.
Reminder: There is no school tomorrow, Wednesday, February 5, 2020 due to a teacher in-service day.
Reek's annual "Jump Rope For Heart" fundraiser is Friday, February 7. Please turn in all contributions on this day for prizes. Forward questions to Mr. Matthiesen, (262) 248-4120, ext. 206.
Parent/Teacher conferences are on February 4 from 3:30-6:30. Conferences are request only. Please contact your teacher to schedule your meeting.
Prelude Choir and Show Choir permission slips are due Friday, February 7. Permission slips are included in the Friday Flyer for January 31, 2020. (Under the "Document" tab)
Reminder: The Forensics team meets after school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:00. Students will be picked up at the west gym doors.
Please note that we have cancelled Winterfest, which was scheduled for Friday morning. We will postpone our Winterfest until we have some snow for sledding and other winter fun. Stay tuned for the new date.
Robotics permission slips are due for middle school students on Friday, January 10. Only 8 spots are available.
Girls basketball practice begins today for middle school students.
The middle school forensics program will begin after break in January. Permission slips went home this week and are due Friday, December 20. Please turn in to the office.
Ski Program Reminders: The online registration through the Grand Geneva is due this Friday, December 20th. All waivers for the ski program are due in the office this Friday.
Cheerleading practice is cancelled after school today.
