The Battle of the Books meetings will be January 16th and 30th afterschool until 4pm for those students that have signed up.

You can't catch us, we are Reek's kindergarteners. The entire school and staff enjoyed the excitement and joy of 5K's adventures of baking a gingerbread man and having him escape from the oven to the library! He was caught reading gingerbread books.

The Winter Concert is tomorrow! Thursday, Dec 8th at 2:00 - 4K-3rd Christmas Concert - 6:00 pm 4-8th grade Christmas concert.
A big thank you to all the families that donated to the Lakeland Animal Shelter Drive. These students were part of the student council committee that organized it and were able to represent Reek when the donations were dropped off. They did try to convince Mrs. Martin that the school needed a few dozen cats and dogs, but sadly the van didn't have enough room to bring them all back with us. Lakeland Animal Shelter was very appreciative of the donation.
The Grinch certainly hates the Whos, but maybe if everyone claps really loud at the concert, the Grinch will grow his heart three sizes! Join us Thursday, December 8th at 2:00 p.m. for the 4K-3rd Grade and Prelude Choir concert and again at 6:00 p.m. for the 4th-8th grade band, choir and showchoir concert!
Families are welcome to join us at the Tom Stanfield music assembly December 22 at 9:30am.
