3K PROGRAM

Reek Elementary School's 3K curriculum is based on the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. Alphabetic and numeric awareness is integrated into daily activities. Reek provides a flexible and proactive classroom experience for children to learn to question, explain, and make predictions. Students are challenged to promote progress and prepare them for future development. Reek students learn to be independent with support and guidance. Reek's environment focuses on safety, manners, kindness, and practicing appropriate behaviors daily. Students learn to communicate verbally with other students and teachers. Kindness and respect are the foundation of Reek's cooperative work and play.

A typical 3K day includes circle time, music, art activities, science exploration, free choice play, math and literacy centers, story time, P. E. or outdoor play, snack time, and library.

Families may choose which days of the week to attend. Families may opt to have their child attend from two to five days between Monday and Friday.
